Given the advance of technology, numerous challenges faced by modern society have been able to be solved or mitigated. However, even with such progress, one of the major difficulties is food waste. A significant portion of this loss comprises fruits and vegetables, and many cases of this wastage can occur due to a lack of knowledge about their ripening stages.
Therefore, the project aims to implement machine learning techniques for the classification of fruits into three categories: banana, apple, and orange. Additionally, it seeks to classify them into five ripening stages: green, nearly ripe, ripe, very ripe, and rotten.
